Every year, the finalists get the chance to record a song for a compilation CD. For many of them, it is their first time inside a recording studio. This year, the recording sessions took place at Midi-Tech Studio.
Each finalist sang the 2 songs they will be performing at the final. Only one of the songs will be used on the CD but at the final, both songs will be used to recap the performances just before voting begins.
