Each of the 10 Finalists is awarded the experience of being in a professional recording studio when they record 1 track for a compilation album. Although the compilation CD is not officially released, it serves as the souvenir of an experience they will never forget.

Compilation CD's

George Marques has realeased his first album called El Primer Sueno

Kayla de Brito has finished her album and the release is set for April 10. She will be performing a song from it at this year’s final. We wish her the best.

Veronica Grewal was first place on the adult category of the second annual ASCJS. She was awarded with the recording of an album which is going to have it's release very soon.

Her CD is all in English and the Amateur Singing Contest With John Santos will be helping with the promotion of her CD for the Canadian market. She has sung in and around Toronto, opening up for Duo Santos and appeared at many of the bullfights that Ganadaria Sol E Toiros presented at Madeira Park. She also sang in Italy last summer.  In the town of Ventimiglia, she performed in the Piazza Santa Rosalia and they enjoyed her show so much that the mayor, Andrea Pagano, has personally invited her to come back and sing again for them.

Andre Carneiro was third place of the first annual ASCJS and first place on the juvenile category of the second annual ASCJS. He was awarded with the recording of an album sponsored by Alegre Bros Studio and the ASCJS which was released on May 2nd, 2009 and which is entitled "Mosaicos". He has also been gaining stage experience performing with John Santos and Duo Santos

Clara Santos was a finalist on the adult category of the second annual ASCJS. After that she decided to record her own album which was released on May 22nd, 2009 and which is entitled "Corro p'ra ti ". She also often performs with John and Duo Santos

Sandra da Silva was second place on the adult category of the second annual ASCJS. After that she decided to record her own album which was released on December 5th, 2008 and which is entitled "Sandra Silva".

The self-titled CD is an album entirely of fado, the kind of music for which she demonstrates a truly exceptional gift. She has been singing Fado for the last years and has performed in several cities in Canada. In the summer of 2008 she was set to do a tour of the Azores and also had plans to record another CD. This one will be for “Ganadaria Sol e Toiros” and will include her two sisters, Carla & Nevia, and her father, João Carlos Silva. She and her father are also currently preparing for a second Fado CD which will be released in the fall of 2009. This CD will consist of 10 original Fados as opposed to the 8 standards and 2 originals that the first one has

Ashley Sousa was the second place of the first annual ASCJS. After that she decided to record her own album which was released on March 29th, 2008 and which is entitled "Sou muito nova". Ashley Sousa was invited to join Musical Director John Santos, Tony Câmara and João Carlos Silva to perform for the celebration of our Lady of the Assumption, in August 2007 in Turlock, California.

Jessica Ferreira, was a finalist at the first annual ASCJS. After that she decided to record her own album.

Maria Iraides was first place on the first annual ASCJS. She was awarded with the recording of an album offered and produced by Audible Studios Oakville. She is currently still at the studio recording her CD, we wish you all the luck and success with it Maria!
