​Miguel Domingos is a musician who plays many different instruments. He is also a singer, music teacher and conductor who has been the “maestro” to some of the Portuguese concert bands in Toronto including 17 years with the Banda Do Senhor Santo Cristo... thanks Miguel​



​Emily Melo has been performing for the last 18 years. She studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as piano and dance. She has recorded 2 solo albums and has performed throughout Canada & the U.S... thanks Emily

​Nancy Costa has been a singer/songwriter for the last 12 years. She is currently recording 2 CDs, one of Fado and one of pop. She has also won the CIRV Song Festival 3 times... thanks Nancy.​



​John Neves  is a vocalist and a recording artist who has achieved much success over the years as both a solo entertainer and the leader of various bands... thanks John

​Paulo Pereira is a vocalist and songwriter. He began performing as the leader of the band Viriato and released his first solo album in 2004. Also in 2004, he was 1 of 10 finalists in the CBC's “Great Canadian Music Contest”. In 2008, he represented Canada's Portuguese community at RTP's Lusavox Festival. He is currently working on his first album in Portuguese... thanks Paulo​



​Patrick Hodgson plays piano, keys and trombone. He studied at the Royal Conservatory and the Trebas Institute. He has been a professional musician for the past 15 years and has been recording and producing for the past 3 years. His band “Monnakoe” is definitely one to watch... thanks for being here Patrick

​Mark Polak is the other half of “Monnakoe”. Although he plays many instruments, he focuses on vocals and guitar for the band. He has recorded 3 albums and is an accomplished songwriter, writing many different styles of music, from folk to electronica. Mark and Patrick have plans for a European tour this summer and given his Polish background, Mark hopes to be playing festivals in Poland... thanks Mark and good luck Monnakoe
