The Judges...

Miguel Domingos is a musician who plays many different instruments. He is also a singer, music teacher and conductor who has been the “maestro” to some of the Portuguese concert bands in Toronto including 17 years with the Banda Do Senhor Santo Cristo... thanks Miguel

Emily Melo has been performing for the last 18 years. She studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as piano and dance. She has recorded 2 solo albums and has performed throughout Canada & the U.S... thanks Emily

Nancy Costa has been a singer/songwriter for the last 12 years. She is currently recording 2 CDs, one of Fado and one of pop. She has also won the CIRV Song Festival 3 times... thanks Nancy.

Jessica Amaro is an award winning recording artist. She has released 4 CDs and is preparing to release a new album by the end of the year. She has also been teaching singing, piano and dance for about 10 years. She has studied with Ian Garatt along side with Shania Twain and is currently working with JAM and CANWOOD Entertainment on composing for film and television.... thanks Jessica

John Neves is a vocalist and a recording artist who has achieved much success over the years as both a solo entertainer and the leader of various bands... thanks John

Catarina Cardeal began performing at a very early age. Her first recording and CBC radio appearance was at the age of 10. From age 15 she spent 3 years working as a singer & dancer at Canada's Wonderland. In 2000, she won for best interpretation at Portugal's “Festival de Comunidades”, broadcast worldwide on RTP. She works in the music business both as a teacher and as a vocalist on many projects but in particular with Mike Siracusa in the Fado/Blues group “15”... thanks Catarina

Patrick Hodgson plays piano, keys and trombone. He studied at the Royal Conservatory and the Trebas Institute. He has been a professional musician for the past 15 years and has been recording and producing for the past 3 years. His band “Monnakoe” is definitely one to watch... thanks for being here Patrick
